Ubud Bali Blue Lagoon Snorkeling and Waterfall Tour

Overview

A full day from Ubud that pairs a jungle waterfall with snorkeling at Blue Lagoon in Padangbai, on Bali’s east coast. The day runs about 8 to 10 hours, with hotel pickup and drop-off in the Ubud area.

Blue Lagoon is a sheltered cove next to Padangbai harbor. The water is typically calm enough for first-time snorkelers, with hard coral, reef fish, and, on clear mornings, good visibility close to shore. The waterfall stop is inland, in the hills south or east of Ubud, before the drive to the coast.

Itinerary

Times below are a typical order. The guide adjusts the waterfall and snorkel stops for weather and tide. The whole day is about 8 to 10 hours, and you finish at your Ubud hotel.

Ubud hotel pickup

Morning pickup at your hotel in the Ubud area, including Jannata Resort & Spa. The vehicle is air-conditioned. This is not a walking tour of Ubud town.

Jungle waterfall

A stop at a jungle waterfall in the hills outside Ubud. You walk down to the pool, take photos, and, when the flow and rocks allow, wade at the base. The path can be steep and wet. Wear shoes with grip.

Blue Lagoon, Padangbai

Continue east to Padangbai and Blue Lagoon. Mask and fins are included. You snorkel from the beach or a short boat hop, depending on the operator and the sea. Look for coral gardens and reef fish in the cove. Lunch, if included that day, is nearby in Padangbai.

Return to Ubud

The drive back to Ubud is in the afternoon. Drop-off is at your hotel.
