JW Marriott Parq Vancouver is at 39 Smithe Street, Vancouver, BC V6B 0R3, inside Parq Vancouver. BC Place is about a minute away and Rogers Arena is a few minutes on foot. False Creek is beside the hotel. Yaletown and Gastown are both walkable. Canada Place is about a 20-minute walk, or a short ride — this is the entertainment-district stopover, not a pier-side hotel.

Why stay here before you sail

Use the two nights for a game, a show, or dinner in Yaletown, then ride to the ship on sailing morning. Arriving early still covers a late flight. You are not walking out of the lobby onto the gangway.

Queen/Queen Water View Guest Room has two queen beds and a water view. It is the straightforward guest room for a cruise stopover when you want False Creek outside the window and space for two.

One-Bedroom Suite adds a living area to the bedroom. Floor-to-ceiling windows, a place to sit before dinner, and a marble-and-wood bath.

One-Bedroom Mountain View Suite is the one-bedroom with the mountain outlook from the living area. Same idea as the other one-bedroom suites: a separate sitting space and a full bedroom.

One-Bedroom King Suite pairs a king bedroom with a living area. Ask for this when two queens are more bed than you need and you still want a door between the sitting room and the bed.

One-Bedroom Executive King Suite is the larger one-bedroom, with a living area and a marble bath. Eligible Marriott Bonvoy guests can also ask about Executive Lounge access.

Sky Suite is a two-bedroom suite high in the hotel. Floor-to-ceiling windows wrap three sides. From the living and dining area you see the mountains, the city, and the water. Each bedroom has its own bathroom.

Parq Villa is a two-level suite. A staircase leads to the loft bedroom and bath, both behind a wall of windows. White oak floors run through the suite, and a sliding wall of glass opens to a 600-square-foot terrace over False Creek.

Parq Vancouver has 8 distinct restaurants and lounges, plus an on-site casino, so the first night of the trip can stay inside the complex.

The Executive Lounge is in the hotel for eligible Marriott Bonvoy Platinum, Titanium, and Ambassador members, plus one guest in the same room. Book a room marked with lounge access if you want that floor.

Yaletown’s restaurants are a walk toward False Creek, and Gastown is a longer walk north.
