Overview
A small-group Pearl Harbor day on Oahu, about 7 to 7.5 hours, run by Amstar Hawaii. Pickup starts in Waikiki. The van takes you to the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, where the driver gives a short orientation. Tickets for the USS Arizona Memorial and the Battleship Missouri are part of the day, so you do not line up for those on your own.
At the visitor center you can see the Road to War and Attack museums, which cover the planning and the aftermath of December 7, 1941. Outdoor exhibits include the USS Arizona's anchor, the Lone Sailor sculpture, and the Waterfront Submarine Memorial.
The USS Missouri is the battleship where Japan signed the surrender that ended World War II. Admission includes an audio set and a guided deck tour. After Pearl Harbor, the van makes a short drive through historic downtown Honolulu: the King Kamehameha statue (a short stop), Iolani Palace, the Hawaii State Capitol, Washington Place, Kawaiahao Church, and the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl. Most of those landmarks are seen from the van. The day ends back at your pickup.
Your confirmation shows on the trip itinerary. There is no separate voucher. Contact Amstar Hawaii to reconfirm 72 hours before the tour. They send the Waikiki pickup time and the exact meeting spot. Be there at least 10 minutes early. Wear casual clothes and shoes, and bring a camera, sunglasses, sunscreen, and money for anything you want to buy.
