Overview

A shared bus day from Hiroshima Station to the Peace Memorial sites and Miyajima, about 8 hours. Japan Panoramic Tours runs it. The guide speaks English. The coach also has audio in English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, and Ukrainian, and a Japanese guide option. This is the bus day. The private Hiroshima and Miyajima walk is a separate page.

Meet at 10:00 am in front of the Shinkansen ticket gate on the 2nd floor of Hiroshima Station, North Gate, 2-37 Matsubaracho, Minami-ku, Hiroshima. Check in with the staff holding the green and white Japan Panoramic Tours flag. The day returns to Hiroshima Station. Book at least 3 hours before the start. If you are late, you cannot join the coach later. A no-show cannot move the date. If you want a bullet train after the day, buy that ticket after the tour, or for a departure after 6:30 pm.

The coach is air-conditioned and has Wi-Fi. Admission is covered for the Peace Memorial Museum, Miyajima, and Itsukushima Shrine. The ferry is round trip. If a stop is closed, or the group cannot enter the museum, the day uses another site. The order can change with traffic and weather. Miyajima and the museum are also on the sample Japan tour.

About 50 minutes. The with-lunch ticket is Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki: batter, cabbage, pork, and noodles, with sauce, bonito flakes, and mayonnaise. Vegetarian okonomiyaki has no pork and no seafood. It does use eggs and gluten. There is no vegan, halal, gluten-free, or allergy-free lunch. Choose the without-lunch ticket and bring food, or use the free time on the island while the group eats. Ask for the vegetarian lunch when you book.
