Overview
A private walking day in Tokyo with a government-licensed English-speaking guide. Japan Guide Agency supplies it. Only your group goes. You choose the sights, and the guide arranges the logistics. The usual day is about 6 hours, with 3 to 4 sights. A 4-hour day covers 2 to 3 sights. An 8-hour day covers 4 to 6 sights.
You meet the guide on foot in a designated area of Tokyo. The meeting area is inside the city. Narita Airport is outside that area. Between sights you use public transportation or a local taxi. Bring yen for those fares. Ask Theresa if you want the private-vehicle booking, up to 7 travelers, or the bus booking, up to 15 travelers.
The guide's entry is covered for the sights on this list. At the gardens and museums marked below, you pay admission. Lunch is yours to arrange with the guide. The day is offered in English, and the listing also offers one other language. Tokyo is also where the sample Japan tour begins, and the Mt Fuji day leaves from Shinjuku.
